Caution: Not for the faint of heart

In the process of shooting my final project at one of the hospitals in Houston, I was shown something I never imagined I would see. A doctor offered to show my sister and I something, so we agreed. Sitting right in front of us was a man's "old" heart, still connected to an LVAD. The man had received a new heart after 25 heart attacks. It was unbelievable! Kind of gross, but interesting
